I Know that you miss me

I know that you miss me,
      at times you are sad.
You think you should have done more                    as my friend

But I’ve something to tell you

So you won’t feel so bad

You gave me the best life

I could ever have had

Now that I’m in heaven
I don’t feel the pain.
Of all of the problems
that make life a strain.

I just have to thank you,
that the memories are glad.
For you gave me the best life
I could ever have had.

The times that were painful
Are just lessons learned.
I’ve forgotten the sad times,
With the freedom I’ve earned.

Just know in your heart,
With faith iron-clad…
That you gave me the best life
I could ever have had

May The Winds Of Love

   To our friend

May the winds

Of Love

 Blow softly

And whisper

In your ears

That all

Of us who

Loved you

Still wish

That you

Were here.

Love from your

Family

Rainbow Bridge

The Rainbow Bridge Inspired by a Norse legend

By the edge of a woods, at the foot of a hill,
Is a lush, green meadow where time stands still.
Where the friends of man and woman do run,
When their time on earth is over and done.
For here, between this world and the next,
Is a place where each beloved creature finds rest.
On this golden land, they wait and they play,
Till the Rainbow Bridge they cross over one day.
No more do they suffer, in pain or in sadness,
For here they are whole, their lives filled with gladness.
Their limbs are restored, their health renewed,
Their bodies have healed, with strength imbued.
They romp through the grass, without even a care,
Until one day they start, and sniff at the air.
All ears prick forward, eyes dart front and back,
Then all of a sudden, one breaks from the pack.
For just at that instant, their eyes have met;
Together again, both person and pet.
So they run to each other, these friends from long past,
The time of their parting is over at last.
The sadness they felt while they were apart,
Has turned into joy once more in each heart.
They embrace with a love that will last forever,
And then, side-by-side, they cross over… together.

Remember Our Love

Remember Our Love

I was chosen today
I’m learning to fly
the world took me away,
but please don’t you cry

And I chose you today
to try and be strong
so please don’t you cry
and don’t say that I’m gone

When you’re feeling alone
just remember our love,
I’m up near the stars
looking down from above.

Remember our love
In a moment you’ll see
that I’m still here beside you
when you’re thinking of me.

We May Not Be Together

We may not be together

In the way we used to be;

We are still connected by

a cord no one’s eye can see.

So whenever you need to find me.

We’re never far apart

If you look beyond the horizon

And listen with your heart.
